Best treatment for closed comedones?

I have some stubborn ones on my midface, similar to where they are in this picture:

i used to struggle with closed comedones aswell, for me it was because my skin was crazy oily later went on to use isotret and there shrunk
if there stubborn it might be fungal acne

Ketoconazole did fuck all for me, I've ordered Adapalene. I'm praying.

adapalene was a money waste for me
i would try adapalene > tret > accutane

Ive used tret for 5 months and my acne cleared up. Not my CCs tho, my skin is also super oily

Have u found a fix besides accutane?
