magnesium oxide is the best form to take to raise your magnesium level but there are other effects from other forms of magnesium you might be interested in

hating it is complete meme made by supplement industry

it is less bioavailable but the magnesium is much more dense so it raises your levels more and doesn’t make you shit yourself
