The uni go to matters for any degree seen medicine grads get high paying tech roles and investment banking jobs because they went to a Uni with high status

If you are in Canada Waterloo for sure. I live in the U.S. so I don't know about Canada but consider applying to Stanford, MIT, UPenn, CMU, Harvard, UIUC, Berkeley, Georgia Tech, UCLA, and CalTech. And yes the university you go to does matter.

Transfer to US public universities
UIUC, Michigan Ann Arbor, UNC Chapel Hill, any UCs, etc
Easy to get into, a rockstar CS degree and tons of FAAMG recruiters in every career fair
