Best way to fix asymmetrical smile?

I'm quite satisfied with my teeth, but there is one thing that pisses me off, and it's that my midline is shifted. You know, like Tom Cruise used to have it:

It's not nearly as bad, but it personally bothers me—my dentist, my maxfac. surgeon and my orthodontist all told me it's not noticeable and there is not much they can do about it. But I'm sure it can't be that hard to fix, right? Give me some advice, please.
