Best way to fix recessed infras and maxilla ?

I oftently get asked by some friends what to do about recessed bones but i actually dont have a clue what to do for recessed infras. i mean yeah the basic for maxilla is just mewing but i mean is there somthing better and even more usefull to fix those recessions ?
