Best way to get a mole removed?

I have a mole on my right collar bone, its not that noticeable since wearing clothes covers it up but it makes me self conscious about it.
What is the best way i can ask my dermatologist to remove it to minimize/prevent scarring?

currently thinking of laser or liquid nitrogen.
