Bicromial synotosis I think, according to the doctor's website, inhibits the anterior cranial base from growing @thecel

What I understood is synostosis is a disorder where the infant sutures fuse while the brain is undergoing the most rapid development from 0-36 months. Infant sutures aren't mentioned in many medical textbooks but for those months the skull is made of even more sutures.

Coronal synotosis when the suture that allows the forehead to grow out and lengthen and not be recessed fuses. Bicoronal synostosis is the complete seizure of growth.

The picture in OP (the picture above) is the resolution of bicoronal synostosis supposedly.

The surgery is not monobloc. What the surgeon does is "minimally invasive." He essentially undoes the closure of the suture with tools. (Just when is the monobloc ever performed I have no idea. Maybe its a troll surgery and doesn't actually exist.)

@thecel this shit is wild as fuck. I've spent over three quaters of the hour reading about this. Definitely noteworthy when discussing deformity and its causes. Maybe @AscendingHero would too be fascinated by this. It is related to the patterns of skull growth.

This is a blackpilled resource for parents. This is before the person has any agency of their own, so if their synostosis will ruin their face is up to the baby's parents and what they know. This surgery is inexpensive taking only forty minutes to complete. The doctors state on the website that synostosis affects 1 in 1 000 people. I believe that. 1 in 1 000 who all become subhuman because of it.

Presentation [...] 3. Flattening of the forehead on the affected side (frontal plagiocephaly)
And total flatening if it's bicoronal (bi meaning both sides) synostosis. Shit... brutal.
