Best way to make friends at a new highschool?

So basically k just moved to Florida and into a new highschool and I want to make friends, I’ve always hanged out with the same people back where I came from but now I gotta make new friends, I already made a few, but we aren’t really close. I have a few ideas but they are mostly jestermaxxing with them, or in front of them. What should I do?
