Leaving it free let people see without registering, but restricting it to registered users would force user to register.

Not really.Theres a reason you rarely see anyone with a 2019 and 2020 join date. They all left. The site survives off its notoriety.

The site will naturally have more notoriety as BP spread, it's just that 99% of the people who stumble in this site will remain bluepillers (not registered) and hence not bring any value to the forum.

Say you half the people who stumble on this page and triple the users who register to see BOTB and everything else, the site would be better off.

Yeah, they can choose their policy, but doubt that what they choose will convince and retain good contributor.
As you can see many of the BOTB contributor deleted, and my intuition tells me that many more will follow.
