Lycopene might decrease DHT (Dihydrotestosterone, important hormone for male health, IMO.)
![]()
Lycopene inhibits IGF-I signal transduction and growth in normal prostate epithelial cells by decreasing DHT-modulated IGF-I production in co-cultured reactive stromal cells

around 10 mg with lycopene. idk about bc you have to experiment but start with a lower dose for bc as it is somewhat hypometabolic. How many a day?
What about the one u linkedaround 10 mg with lycopene. idk about bc you have to experiment but start with a lower dose for bc as it is somewhat hypometabolic.

Why? Is 7.5mg good dose?beta carotene as low as possible
high beta carotene seems to inhibit thyroid function. I would just get enough to get a yellow tint. If your thyroid hormones arent optimal and you dont have enough b12 you accumalate carotene and get beta carotenemia- detectable when your skin begins to turn yellow like with jaundice. lycopene is much much safer it has some negative effects on dht but nothing big. Redness is more attractive to women than yellow undertones anyway (many many studies on this). If youre really serious you can also take aspirin which improves hypoxia symptoms and increases bloodflow to the local tissue thereby improving dull skin for eg. and there are a lot more carotenoids responsible for pigment than just bc lycopene and astaxanthin. the fruits rich in them are strawberries raspberries and dragonfruit. you can drink a shake of this everyday for two months and you probably dont even need to take supplements. I dont think delon ever took isolated carotenoid supps he was probably just asked to eat a diet rich in fruits and some vegetables. i suggest eating a raw carrot a day( also insanely good for the gut) and some sweet potatoes once in a while for the yellow tint. Why? Also thoughts on astaxanthin?

"
Beta-Carotene is the main carotenoid found in plants and is more often responsible for this condition.[4] Carotenemia is often first encountered by primary care providers. Although benign, this condition is often confused with jaundice, leading to unnecessary investigations.
The condition of carotenemia is benign; however, it can lead to a wrong diagnosis of jaundice. Orangeness may also bear a significant symbolic significance.[5] Carotinemia was originally observed as xanthosis diabetica by von Noorden in 1904, who noted it to be more prominent on the palms and soles and in the nasolabial folds"

just another carotenoid probably responsible for pinkish hue. MSM does the same but it may be a different shade of pink as msm works by increasing the proportion of pheomelanint to eumelaninwhat are the benefits of
astaxanthin on skintone?
1 large carrot (25000iu beta carotene)just another carotenoid probably responsible for pinkish hue. MSM does the same but it may be a different shade of pink as msm works by increasing the proportion of pheomelanint to eumelanin
"Astaxanthin is a carotenoid widely used in salmonid and crustacean aquaculture to provide the pink color characteristic of that species. This application has been well documented for over two decades and is currently the major market driver for the pigment. Additionally, astaxanthin also plays a key role as an intermediary in reproductive processes. Synthetic astaxanthin dominates the world market but recent interest in natural sources of the pigment has increased substantially. Common sources of natural astaxanthin are the green algae Haematococcus pluvialis, the red yeast, Phaffia rhodozyma, as well as crustacean byproducts. Astaxanthin possesses an unusual antioxidant activity which has caused a surge in the nutraceutical market for the encapsulated product. Also, health benefits such as cardiovascular disease prevention, immune system boosting, bioactivity against Helycobacter pylori, and cataract prevention, have been associated with astaxanthin consumption. Research on the health benefits of astaxanthin is very recent and has mostly been performed in vitro or at the pre-clinical level with humans. This paper reviews the current available evidence regarding astaxanthin chemistry and its potential beneficial effects in humans."
also take raspberry strawberry dragon fruit mixed shake every day or every other day1 large carrot (25000iu beta carotene)
20-30mg lycopene
1700mg MSM
4mg Astaxanthin
would give mogger skin tone with good red undertones?
what’s the benefits in doing this?also take raspberry strawberry dragon fruit mixed shake every day or every other day
you get other carotenoids responsible for pigment in face. science has only isolated a few what we do know is these fruits contain 100s of these pigment inducing carotenoids that havent been delineated yet.what’s the benefits in doing this?
i’ll do this.you get other carotenoids responsible for pigment in face. science has only isolated a few what we do know is these fruits contain 100s of these pigment inducing carotenoids that havent been delineated yet.
you can break the tablet if you want. i do it with most of my supplements.i’ll do this.
also would 50mg lycopene be too much for red undertones.
i managed to find it for dirt cheap compared to the lower doses for some reason
would i be too red from 50?you can break the tablet if you want. i do it with most of my supplements.
Results are quick so if you find yourself becoming too red you can just stop. It’s not permanent.would i be too red from 50?
i’ve seen that 4mg won’t decrease dht. Astaxanthin is also a potent DHT blocker based off 1 study (it was somewhat dubious though)
Thanks bro will consider it, currently I only have tomatoes tbh, are they good too as source of lycopene?and there are a lot more carotenoids responsible for pigment than just bc lycopene and astaxanthin. the fruits rich in them are strawberries raspberries and dragonfruit. you can drink a shake of this everyday for two months and you probably dont even need to take supplements. want to know this also. Thanks bro will consider it, currently I only have tomatoes tbh, are they good too as source of lycopene?
And if I were to supplement do I need to split the dosage between meals and take if after like it says here btw? Does this apply to lycopene supplements too?

Split your beta-carotene and Astaxanthin over meals. Background inside.
So I just started taking both beta-carotene and Astaxanthin today. I tried to find some information on how to take these things. You probably all already know that carotenoids should be taken with fatty meals. What you don't know is what researchers found out in 1993, when they analyzed plasma...web.archive.org
