Beta Carotene for tanning

I'm taking 28mg beta carotene in form of pills starting today.
I want a slightly more tanned skin, is that possible or is beta carotene complete cope?
Will i rather get orange or a nice subtile tan from it, if it works?

28mg? decrease dose, Not cope but you wont get "tanned" just undertone get better and glowy

I Meant lower dose my bad, Beta carotene increases chance of cancer while natural beta carotene(Carrots n shit) lower the chance of it, and if u take 28mg Most wont get absorbed properly n shit, jut not worth it imo, i take 15mg. Also start eating carrots alongside it and start adding thick tomato paste in ur food.
