Betamethasone Valerate compared to Hydrocortisone

Would betamethasone valerate (0.1%) work in theory the same way hydrocortisone (0.25%) works in reducing inflammation on the nose, I have both of them but i’ve heard that betamethasone dipropionate works way better than hydrocortisone and I wanted to ask if valerate would do the same, for the hydrocortisone I have it in a cream version while the valerate is ointment should I use it?

It’s more potent but that also means more side effects

just stick with hydrocortisone works perfectly fine
