If I had a time machine I would go back in time and tell my younger self to not watch the final episode. The Series would have been better ended if it stopped after the old lady in the wheel chair reported to the police that Saul Goodman was in her kitchen.

The appearances of Mike and Walter White in the final contributed nothing to the plot and were just confusing.

An ending where Saul plea bargained to a 7 year prison sentence at a minimum security prison would have been a good ending also. The actual ending where he confesses to everything for no apparent benefit, other than to possibly impress Kim, and gets sentenced to 90 years at a shit hole prison was lame. I guess we are supposed to believe Kim moves to Montrose and visits him regularly to share a smoke, IDK.

BRB going to get some ice cream.

It’s a good ending. It would be unrealistic for him to have a happy ending. He got life in prison for all the fucked up shit he did in his life. That’s even a worse fate than Walter white being killed. Jesse is the only main character that had a happy ending

Cope.

Kino ending.

This is not marvel for Jimmy to end up fucking Kim the rest of his life with a happy family while living clandestinely.

Didn't read post because I didn't watch szn 6 yet

Where to watch it? Not on Hulu or Netflix

Thank fuck I'm not the only person to think this. Judging by the comments on reddit and twitter you'd think everyone thought this was some sort of cinematic masterpiece of an ending despite the fact that it fucking sucked in every way. The first 20 minutes clued me in that it would be bad; it suffered from the same critique I applied to many breaking bad episodes that ended on cliffhangers where the cliffhanger would be resolved within the first quarter of the following episode. Jimmy is running from the law and knows that his license plate is compromised but still chooses to go back home? And for someone who had supposedly spent years poring over every last contact in the vet's black book of contacts, he didn't even remember the number for the vacuum guy? As for the ending, it's literally so retarded that words can't even describe it so I won't even bother trying. JFL that Vince and Peter wrote a countless number of amazing scenes just to turn the show into some kind of jumbled joke for the last episode. The only solace I take from the ending is that it didn't completely ruin the show, but that's a very low bar for what would otherwise be one of the best television shows of all time.

yea. I should have mentioned in the OP that I really like the show in general, just that I didn't like the final episode. And I don't just mean the final 2 minutes, I mean the entire episode was bad. It was not much more than a recap episode where they brought back old characters (forgot to mention Chuck in the OP) for no reason other than to please the kind of viewer that likes that shit.

Unfortunately most people that watch serial dramas are what I call "relationship people", They get into the relationships the characters have with each other. I am not one of those people, I only care about the plot. It seems this episode was written for the relationship people.

The ending was weird. Why Saul chose 86 years in prison instead of 7???

breaking bad's ending was too clean and let walt get away w too much, imo he should have failed to reconcile w skyler or get his money to his kids and just do one last act of good by saving jesse tbh

I really really liked the final stretch of gene episodes but the finale was meh imo, the flashbacks with the time machine bit were retarded and embarassingly on the nose. I would have replaced the walt flashback with saul finding out about the prison killings and talking to walt afterwards.

I like how the last part of the show was a trial but it was so cheesy, I loved Saul's entrance into the courtroom but the trial itself was meh. Imo he should have gone for the 7 years as a final farewell to Saul Goodman and reconcile with Kim in prison

Second half of Season 6 was weird tbh

Yeah. Confession and the 86-year sentence doesn't fit Saul's personality.
