Somehow having white hair and always being dressed in a suit makes Howard's horrific hairline less noticeable.
The actor when younger
Fun Fact: he is married Rea Seahorn IRL
eta: not a smart move by Lalo if you think about it. It creates a horrific mess for Saul. I don't think it is possible to get rid of all that blood without leaving traces detectable by investigators. This is in the past, but they had cell phones then, Howard's phone would have been traceable to Saul's apartment. They could claim suicide, but that doesn't make much sense, and who commits suicide standing up

One of the saddest deaths in the show since he didn’t deserve most of this shit and was trying to fix his life

A lot of problems with the suicide angle though.
1. The gun. Lalo would have to leave the gun, so he would loose use of what is almost certainly the only gun and silencer he has since he is living underground. There would be no record of Howard owning that gun, and there may be evidence of that gun being used in a prior homicide. This at a time when he was planning to attack Chicken Man's proto meth lab that night.
2. Saul is hated among local law enforcement because of his association with Lalo.
