Better to be fat or lean when heightmaxxing?

Im 17 atm, pretty sure my growth played arent closed (grew like 1 inch in last year) however if i get fat then my estrogen will increase and i might aromatise and stop growing

But if im lean then i might be malnourished and not grow but also fasting increases hgh so idk

if youre too lean you wont be getting enough fat if youre too fat estrogen is fat soluble etc id say just be around 15% bf, eat your maintenance or slight surplus

To grow the most important thing is to consume protein, IGF-1 is a protein that basically makes us grow and for our body to create it, we must consume enough protein. And protein is not fattening, so you can improve your growth without being fat.

15-20%. too fat = aromatase = too much estrogen = closed plates (you probably know that). And

too lean = body unable to use caloric surplus to gain height.
