Squats increase testo and helps with literally every other sport

Low T if ur not squatting at least twice a week not to forget the deadlift+ squat actually change ur bone density over time

I don't even see 18yo lifters getting bigger frames after doing 2-3y liftin

in this photo i was 17 im now 18 , he is more shredded with bigger chest , i have bigger arms and same forearms and shoulders , but he was 5'7 and im 6'1 ,we can say that the size is similar , but he is way more shredded and ripped baby so he mog i guess
he also have better tan , but i have same tan when i do pics in the bahtroom too idk why

Wolfs law bro most 18 year olds do fluff and pump work dont see them doing heavy farmer carries heavy deads or squats mostly bicep curls and chest presses

Damn u have good muscle insertions but ur chest is pretty small/short like most guys. Didnt except u to be so lean bro. Do some work on ur lower abs and lower chest with decline bench press
also u have a big neck and lats.

i have a really long/big ribcage so my chest looks huge in clothes now that im filling it out with bench. I also have 10/10 triceps insertion but my biceps is short so i have to roll up my tshirt

I squat and deadlift all the time and my legs are 24" at about 10% bf and I really couldnt care less about them tbh.

Yeah it probably has physiological benefits though but id have that mass transferred to my upper body anyday. No girl really cares about legs.

The number of women that I don’t even know who have drunkenly grabbed my ass at parties or concerts, plus the number of women, who, while I was dating were OBSESSED with grabbing my ass (during sex but also just in general) makes me strongly disagree that girls don’t care about a muscular lower body

yeah lower abs and lower chest doesnt show good because is primarily about bodyfat indeed , im like 14-15% im not really that lean honestly trust me , jeff seid is 10% , so the main thing i should do for get them is lowering bodyfat , also my chest is weak point like u said looks like jeff seid at 12 so need to get bigger there

Honestly I do think those two guys in the middle look fucking ridiculous yeah. I find that the contrast of having a jacked upper body and chicken legs looks super unnatural and unbalanced. Why would you dedicate all that time to getting a jacked upperbody while simultaneously neglecting the biggest and most functional muscle groups in your body? Just looks silly to me. They would look better if more proportional but that’s just my opinion which ultimately doesn’t matter

I do appreciate that you provided the link to that study, though, pretty interesting stuff and I see where you’re coming from now. I guess we can just agree to disagree. I will always think a balanced and complete physique will look best, and I will always love hitting heavy squats or deadlifts because I like the look, I get a massive endorphin rush and feel high after those workouts. For me I seriously just enjoy training those muscle groups so for me it’s not even 100% about attracting women. So technically, it seems that you are correct that if your ONLY goal is to attract women- then yes, it does seem evident that upper body is by far the most important factor.

looking ¨good¨ is relative and can mean anything

the important muscles u mention are basically the muscles what people look into for a ¨bodybuilder¨ but doesnt necessary make you look ¨huge¨ as natty

imo the muscles that drasticly change your physique and fill your shirt are neck traps lats and shoulders (in no particular order)

lol trust me, my legs aren’t even big, yet i squat 315+ for reps and deadlift 405+ for reps. my legs simply look proportional to my upper body. if i didn’t train them, they would be fucking toothpicks because i have really long limbs (6’4”)

and dude i’m literally agreeing with you about how the upper body is BY FAR more important in terms of looking attractive. All I’m trying to say is that, in my opinion, it looks fucking ridiculous to have a developed upper body and toothpick legs. I would know, because i used to be that guy, back in high school I had a jacked upperbody and no legs because i was too lazy to hit legs

But i definitely disagree when you say it’s not functional. Brb moving furniture into a new apartment and it’s not even difficult. Also it’s proven that training lower body intensely actually makes your upper body grow faster because your body releases more testosterone during squats/deadlifts than any other type of movement. When I started going heavy on squat and deadlift during my routine my other lifts went up too, & my traps and chest exploded

Having strong legs will improve your bench press this is fact

I don’t miss deadlifts or squats at all, my knees and hips feel way better. I was regularly deadlifting 315+ pounds for reps multiple times a week and the shit is stressful in your body. I love doings weighted dips and pull-ups and working my forearms etc now. My legs have gotten smaller but I feel lighter and quicker and I honestly didn’t like having large things or glutes because i don’t fuck with tight jeans
But deadlifts, or at the very least, rack pulls are important because they give you that 3d thickness right?
Also do you think all that isolation stuff on arms and traps etc pays off, Vs doing it in one go?

I've never been a isolation lifter, and injuries have taken their toll, but I generally just do deadlift, bench, OHP, then sone auxiliary stuff for back (facepulls, seated row, lat pull downs) you think it's worth doing a few months if pure isolation?
 
BIG CHEST makes you look dominant as a MOTHERFUCKER

Good V-Shape + Big chest makes you an slayer if your face doesnt look horrible
