Biggest looksmax mistake i did so far. Nasolabial fold filler

Since i started looksmaxing i did everything alright besides getting nl folds filler.
First the surgeon scammed me brutally. We agreed on doing 0.5ml of total filler, but when he went to the get the syringes he just opened a package of 1ml filler.
He played like it was a mistake and that he will find a package of 0.5 ml. Because i was nervous and not that confident i said "yeah its okay, we can use the 1ml".

Now i have 0.5ml of filler on each side. Im 3 months after the treatment and look a lot more bloated in the midface. The nasal projection looks like a ape and makes my cheekbones+oge curve less prominent.

Nasolabial folds are mostly caused by dropped down orbital fad pad and ecxess fat in the nasolabial area. By filling the fold you just add more volume. You will have less folds, but more bloatface in the end. Its a trade off.

I got cheek fillers deep on the bone with a strong ha filler 2 years ago. Result is still pretty good and not much bloating/migration.
Also if you are scared of bloating/migration you can use Radiesse which attracts zero water.

MRI can detect SINGLE MOLECULES of the substance. So, they detected SOME amount of filler remaining. Ok. What next? It doesnt' matter if some remains in the face: visually or physically it gives zero modification. New layer can be injected on top.

No, i mean you got the soft tissue filler?

Nasolabial folds can also be treated with the injection on the bone: deep inside the space near the nose. It is called "pyriform filler". In reality, they put filler on your canine fossa/paranasal portion of the maxilla.

It seems that in your case, he just went the standard root by injecting along the fold itself: soft tissues. This stuff indeed can migrate, and gives you the "rounder" look.

Man, THOUSANDS doctors say fillers DO NOT migrate if put on the bone. Migration within the bone while theoretically possible, will not happen because of the high pressure within periosteum.

and you're trying to replace a lack of bonemass with volume. where is the difference lol. They all migrate in the end and if you keep getting "new fillers on top of the old ones" you'll end up bloated over time. nothing you can do to prevent it but get them dissolved chemically which can damage your face and lead to necrosis.

OP is a young gl guy and even his minimal amount of fillers migrated into the surrounding tissue and bloated him up instead of "dissolving on their own"

Yeah, that's my biggest issue so far tbh. Granted that I've only had 0,3 ml undereye filler and 0,5 ml jaw filler it's still paranoiatown. Once I get my cheekbone filler I'm done, but I'll have 3,6ml in total injected throughout my face then.

There is NOT such thing as "accidentally bloating". Or how do you imagine this yourself? Your doctor is blind? You see a face which lacks volume: you add EXACTLY the amount THIS FACE needs. Not more. If there is residual filler, you just add less until the necessary cosmetic effect is achieved. That's it.

When you say 'larger area' what do you refer to exactly? I was under the impression that filler could only migrate within the enclosed spaces of the ligaments it was injected on, e.g cheek filler cannot anatomically migrate to your chin

you're right. Of course cheek fillers won't migrate down your mandible, up to your chin, but they will migrate into the immediate surrounding tissue. E.g. If you're getting chin fillers they can and will migrate along your mandible, and cheek fillers will migrate around the under-eye area.

All 3 cases were injected into SOFT TISSUE not bone. 2 cases were like OP: nasolabial folds. The last patient was not even injected with a standard HA filler, but some other bullshit mixture.
