it's funny how native american culture is still pretty popular and fetishized and we had the métis form because of settlers marrying native american women.
but when it comes to australian natives nobody gives a fuck and they're just dying out cause they were ugly.
if the natives had looked like australian aboriginees they would've been 100% wiped out , and not even afforded residential schools as bad as they were. Settlers wouldn't even have attempted to assimilate and breed with them and just exterminated them like rats.
