I will be getting bimax probably next year and so I'm trying to become mentally prepared for the pain.

To any of you who got this surgery, how much pain you feel post surgery? Does it get better? Does your chin or part of your jaw gets permanently numb?

i've read that it's absolute hell but it'll pass and results are pemanent

They will give you medics and anesthesia will numb your lower third for good period of time...90% numbness should go away 18 months
Pain wont be much of issue after surgery but the swolleness
I had genio and jaw angle implants...however even after 2 years my chin and lower lip is 10-15% numb
