Fairly certain I can get my insurance to cover bimax, but how can I convince a bluepilled surgeon to do zygo implants at the same time? Is it even realistic to combine the two?

I don't think you should, you don't want to deal with the pain and inflammation of literally getting your bones broken, moved around and reattached, and on top of that the pain in your zygomatic region and the looming thread of your body rejecting them. If your surgeon recommends you don't, probably don't, get the bimax, recover, reassess the zygomatic implants and then go through with it.

Dual procedures like that are almost never done, the more moving parts you have in a system, the greater the chances of failure.

The bimax is for medical reasons. I have terrible jaw pain and sometimes can’t open my mouth fully and it’s making eating food difficult. My bite is misaligned due a tilt in my maxilla and mandible, cosmetic improvement would only be an extra benefit

explain mr genius
Most of the best qualified surgeons are bluepilled, I cant go to turkey for the extra mm or my insurance won’t cover 90% of the costs. If my doctor says he’ll only advance my maxilla by only a couple mm then I won’t do it

Did you try to tell him to advance it more forward?

As in you want the implants to be paid by your insurance as well? Pushing it.
Don't know if they'd even allow it if you paid for the implants out of pocket.
You would have to argue that the implants are medically necessary, but there is literally no reason that implants would be medically necessary.
If you'd want to pay for the implants out of pocket, you could probably ask about the additional expenses and clarify to your insurance that you'd be willing to cover those. But I'm assuming you want the former, so 0% chance.
GL with your Bimax.

Fuck cunt, every single thread you reply to, you just give the most politically correct answer. :feelsuhh: Nobody on this forum cares for that.

Oh yeah, fuck giving good advice, let's tell people to do the objectively wrong thing, WHAT COULD FUCKING GO WRONG? You're a retard if you actually have an issue with this, lmaooo

There's no reason why he should get both things done in a single surgery, that's putting himself at risk for very little gain. Any angle you consider it, it's not a good return on investment if something goes wrong faggot

Yeah I know I would have pay for implants out of pocket, that’s fine. I think the big issue it that most regular surgeons aren’t well versed in implants but you never know

Yeah I mean, do you have the freedom to decide a surgeon? Maybe consult one with experience? Only surgeon I know of that can do Bimax and implants is Eppley, if you're in the US.

Yes, because getting multiple surgeries is definitely less complicated, and the recovery time will definitely be reduced!
You know nothing

Yes, are you fucking stupid? You’re drastically increasing the risk of complications, overloading your body’s healing systems, and setting yourself up for a brutal recovery. Separated surgeries give the body time to recover properly, let surgeons assess healing and make adjustments, and reduce the chances of permanent damage from swelling, infection, or bad results.

I'm literally speaking from what I've heard from my father, who's not really a surgeon, but an anesthesiologist, so it's close enough, most sane doctors will recommend you wait at least 3 weeks between such surgeries.

Oh sorry for giving "politically correct advice", I should DEFINITELY SUGGEST PEOPLE DO THE THING THAT'S NOT RECOMMENDED BY MAJORITY OF PROFESSIONALS AND RISK DAMAGE, that's 100% more moral and what's right for this forum. JFL so hard.

The only benefit to this is it being a little more cost-efficient, but if that increases your risks of it going wrong, it's not worth it bro

stupid get jaw implants amd zygo implants bimaxx and a normie surgeon is like me going to a homeless shelter to raise money for homeless people

3 weeks between Bimax and implants guys, heard it here first. Cunt, he'll only just be done with drinking out of a straw :ROFLMAO:
Can safely discredit anything your father says on solely that claim.

You don't know what a professional is going to say. It's bimax and zygomatic implants, not LF3 and orbital decompression.
Stop recommending shit when that isn't the question, do you think OP is going to naively do the surgery if it's objectively risky as per his surgeon's words? No, obviously not.
Belittling to OP to assume he is so retarded :lul::lul:

Oh, thanks for the medical insight, Doctor. Three weeks between surgical procedures is not some unheard-of, it's an approach used in real surgical planning to reduce compounded trauma and let swelling subside before introducing more hardware. If you genuinely cared about safety, you'd contribute without the fragile ego.

AS A MATTER OF FACT, it may not be the same procedure, but in limb lengthening when you need to lengthen the tibias or femurs you're usually recommended to wait 3-8 weeks between surgeries for the exact same reasons.

You're misinterpreting what I said intentionally and ignoring my points lmao, I never implied OP or surgeons are dumb, that's a crazy strawman ngl. But in case you weren't aware, OP literally asked "Is it even realistic to combine the two?"

You're a fucking dumbass and this isn't worth anyone's time, do whatever you want bro, keep recommending your "non-politically correct advice"

Are you young or something? I don’t have a choice, insurance companies don’t apply to every surgeon, they have to be “in network” or else the insurance won’t pay a dime.

Yeah I’m in the US. He’s quite far from me but if my insurance will cover it I will definitely get a consultation at least.

Cheap out? It’s literally a 100k difference in costs. The implants are cosmetic obviously, but if im already getting my face cut open i was hoping it would be possible to skip having to get it cut open again

bimaxx wont do shit all im saying buddy:feelsokman:

You have a skewed perspective, you think you have to get the most extreme thing done when in reality every millimeter matters for facial aesthetics
i have a different perspective for sure. we will see whose is skewed. after this bimax of urs, ill see if u leave this place or ur still rotting

Does your surgeon even do implants? Just because your surgeon can do a bimax doesn't mean he can do implants.

Is it possible to do both? Sure, anything is possible if you find a surgeon willing to take the risk.

In general though, you should wait 6 months post bimax and then reassess if you even need the implants or how much you actually need. While that region up there remains unchanged bone wise with a LF1, the tension in the muscles, fat and skin is quite different and can drastically change how your cheekbones look post surgery.
