Its much easier to ascend short face syndrome than vertical face growth. People with SFS already has good horizontal growth in midface area, strong ramus etc. So bringing jaws and chin will only make those things stand more.


Also Alfaro is meme known for 1000 botched cases and sloppy freehand....when you get bimax you do NOT want freehand.

He was already lean before hand. His nose is different.

The chin looks way too different compared to his original chin.

His face looks more like a moon because his chin is way further out compared to his maxilla and mandible. So actually Alfaro ironically fucked up by not moving his jaws more forward enough i guess whatever movement you get depends on whether his wife gave him a blowjob in the morning or not

I totally see what you're talking about but i disagree with the reasons. His jaws are now well enough forward. Maybe he could shave a bit of the chin or do a little less ccw rotation or cw rotate the chin. It's very mild tho

Hm hard to see where his jaws should be placed for it to be perfect but I still think his surgery was too conservative. Models don't have their philtrum pulled back like his it looks unhealthy. Nasolabial angle is too big. And yeah his chin honestly no clue why its so long probably just a mixture of bad growth plus surgery sliding it even more forward. Surgeon definitely shouldve payed attention to the chin his 3/4 profile looks ridiculous and worse after surgery.

I see. Maybe this botch machine Alfaro didn't advance as much as he shown in the digital simulation.

I have a very similar profile as this guy had in the pre op and a very similar chin. I'm going to do bimax soon and I'm surely not gonna make the same mistake that he made. Probably a clockwise rotation of the jaws (as a surgeon suggested me) and a vertical lengthening (both maxilla and genio) would make the needed change.
