The last part is a big issue because my ortho suggested some device that pushes forward my lower jaw so it remodels and closed the overbite by a few more mm, that would 1. give me a smaller distance for bsso which would reduce the risk of nerve damage but also 2.

You might be too old for expansion orthodontics. Ortho is most likely larping to camouflage you which will need to be undone with dental decompensation.

Hast du dich schonmal damit auseinander gesetzt?
Die medizinische Prozedur richtet sich nur nach den zubehebenden Problemen, für eine ästhetische Planung zahlst du dann extra bekommst aber eben ein an ästhetische ratios angepasstes Resultat wo zb gedreht wird oder eine größere Projektion gegeben wird

He is surprisingly cheap as he just opened his own private clinic but he has decades of experience working in Charite before as one of the head jaw surgeons there.

He will also do zygomatic sándwich osteotomy at no additional cost though I haven't seen good results with that one compared to implants

In accordance with my parents and my orthodontist, I'm considering getting a bimax and currently Im undergoing several appointments, including a local implantology, Dr. Kater from Bad Homburg near Frankfurt a.M. and Dr. Kühle from the University Clinic of Heidelberg. Kater mainly because I know he does minor patients (Im 15, turning 16 very soon) and he is successful with putting the cost onto insurance. Kühle because I've only really seen positive results and several people talking about him, sadly he hasnt answered me yet whether he would operate a minor however I could also get it at 18 with insurance still covering it, if certain requirements, like a large enough overbite, are still met then. The last part is a big issue because my ortho suggested some device that pushes forward my lower jaw so it remodels and closed the overbite by a few more mm, that would 1. give me a smaller distance for bsso which would reduce the risk of nerve damage but also 2. leave me at an overbite too small for insurance to cover the bimax and having to pay that myself would absolutely fuck up my surgery plan since I also have to get LL at some point to be a human If insurance doesnt cover tje bimax, I would have to use (atleast a part) of the LL funds to get the bimax. Since I dont know too many good bimax surgeons in germany and this all happened pretty quickly, I can't do enough research.
Can I get some opinions on these surgeons and suggestions for other surgeons?

Bro wie sieht’s mittlerweile bei dir aus, weil hatte jetzt Besprechungstermin bei Dr. Kater aber der hat sich vor kurzem von seiner Praxis irgendwie getrennt. Deswegen suche ich jetzt wen anderes vorallem für genioplastik, hast du ne Empfehlung?

Hatte nur eine Besprechung nähe Hamburg weil meine Eltern sehr unsicher mit der Sache sind und nicht durchs ganze Land fahren wollten.
Chirurg meinte wäre auf jedenfall ein klassischer Fall für BSSO aber meinte auch es ist nicht so krass dass es absolut nötig ist. Werde da jetzt erstmal Weisheitszähne rausbekommen (ist ja sowieso nötig) und dann in evtl 1 Jahr nochmal versuchen dass er eine Bimax empfiehlt
Recession ist definitiv nicht so groß dass es ein Problem wäre Unterkiefer und Obeekiefer beide nach vorne zu bewegen, spare jetzt erstmal darauf
