@Acromegaly_Chad @SixCRY @Gaia262 Tagging you guys since I know you're in the planning stages of surgery.
Called up 3 different local maxfacs and my consultations are all the way in the middle of December and early January.
I don't have high hopes for them since the ortho recommended doing a BSSO setback combined with wisdom teeth removal. I might as well take a shower and mew at that point. They showed me the most painful video I've ever seen about "orthodontics to avoid surgery". Literally a bunch of retarded looking class 3 patients and they tilted their teeth mega forward and they were showing it to me like it was some sort of success story. I just told him I wanted to get surgery. Orthos are truly cynical. Imagine tricking a class 3 guy with a 10mm underbite that he can avoid surgery by tilting his top teeth forward and bottom teeth back and then telling him he has a handsome smile. The ortho was a Chadlite too, probably too bluepilled to understand what he's doing.
I need a backup plan incase all 3 give a bluepilled surgery plan.
How long are your wait times for consultations with maxfacs? Do you guys do virtual consultations? I'm in the US so you need referrals from dentists and not many surgeons do procedures for aesthetics.
3 months for consultation, 6 months for braces, probably 3 more months backlogged until surgery, and then 3 month recovery. More than a year just for results. That's assuming the surgeons I'm going to consult with are on the same page as me.
