I'm 17 years old, i live in Germany and i'm getting a bimax surgery + genioplasty performed by Dr. Dr. Kater (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) in about 3 weeks.
I planned the surgery with him yesterday and these are my results:
1. What do yall think of this of this osteotomy cutting technique?

1768508624257

The cut is performed directly below the condyles. It's a new technique and it has some advantages (such as more stability after the healingprocess).
So what i discussed with his assistant surgeon:
I'm getting a genioplasty (Kater will plan the movement in mm so I don't know yet) + bimax osteotomy (BSSO and Le Fort I, I don't know the movement in mm aswell).
The assistant surgeon said that a slight CW rotation will be performed too.
My estimated measurements are: 8mm BSSO, 7mm Le Fort I, 5mm sagittal and 3mm vertical movement for the genioplasty and 3 degrees for the CW.
This is my current front and side- profile:

1768508993685
1768509018762

I'd say i have a MTN front but a Sub 5 side, perfect case for a bimax.
I'll post the results and the specific plans, once i have them.
What do yall think of it? Do yall think it'll be an insane ascension or rather small?

Advancing this cut 8mm would move your gonions forward which is terrible for aesthetics
what do you think of this cut, it's just an estimate, do you think it's good for aesthetics?

It's not a substitute for BSSO if you need advancement.

probably gonna ascend your side profile to get closer/above your front

Do you even fucking read man
you said it's not an substitute for bsso, if you need advancement, i said it ain't a substitute because it is a BSSO??? i don't think it's harmful for your gonions if you move your mandible for 7mm

Viel Erfolg dir!

It's not a traditional bsso. It would not look good if you advance it by 8 mm for the reason I've already explained.

Good luck with that.

It will pretty much ascend your side profile so I think it's worth it

do you think the front will benefit too?
I mean your lower face might look wider and more masculine but I doubt there will be much more difference than that

What is the advantage of making the bsso cut there? What did the Surgeon say

As others have said, this makes no sense for advancement. I can see it being useful cut for a rotational only movement to change the gonial angle or downgrafting the ramus.

Obviously you will not gain any jaw length with this cut.

Never heard of this, but you need to look at previous cases the surgeon treated.
Personally i would never undergo a surgery if surgeon doesn't have at least 50+ cases of this prior cut

i made a mistake, he actually uses the normal BSSO cut, the model is just simplified for showcasing the cut to sub 80 iq niggers

Why would they pay the hospital fees then?

I would never trust German surgeons for asthetic related stuff. They just don't have the culture and average age is like 50 in Germany alias those surgeons usually do surgery on boomers who want to breadth better not mog in the nightclub.

Also Germans are not allowed to public before after results on the internet, so there is much less motivation to create better asthetic results as nobody will see it anyways even if it's good than for instance US or Italian surgeons competing with each other on insta for the best ascension case.

You can do it but expect that you will be needing more surgeries in future to actually improve looks. Not worth to rush it with age 17 tbh

Definitely consult with other surgeons regarding the surgeons movement plan and get more opinions before going for it.

Your nose width is already not the best and this will become even worse with the lefort 1 cut.

Do you have 10k available to get rhino a year later? If not you risk being stuck with an overall worse looking face than pre surgery unironically. And this for years until you can afford more surgeries. There aren't many "only Trimax" ascension cases especially with your face. You are nowhere near deformed enough.

you are rushing to get surgery to looksmax in your teenager years and enjoy it while it's worth but this may backfire hard if you don't have enough funds available
