You would be best off just going to the big three from Italy or to Celal Candirli with the supervision of Giant Implants.

Most users on here don't know anything about surgery so what I told you would be your best bet.

I agree. But don't gravitate towards the celeb surgeons here.
Consult locally and with big names to get a variety of opinions.

I will say that if you're doing it on insurance then there's a risk that the surgeon prioritises function over aesthetics.
So just bear that in mind. I don't know who your surgeon is and maybe they have showcased a bunch of cases to you.

Most users don't, nothing wrong with that

They have their reputation though, most users tend to suggest those surgeons as they do more "aesthetically pleasing" movements etc.

Yes, some of them do but mainly because they advertise widely.
There are some very good surgeons that this place knows nothing about.

Just pronouncing the names of these surgeries takes me 5 minutes
Italian names are easy to pronounce tbh, don't know about the turkish names

Exactly, most people would be better off checking other forums. This site is more like a "hybrid site" that tries to discuss multiple topics.

Every country has a maxillofacial society with their own directory of surgeons.
If you're serious about finding someone, literally call up the phonebook.

It's boring but finding good surgeons requires some trial and error because they swim in business and don't need to advertise.

Nah, I am talking about osteotomy or whatever it is pronounced. And then blepharoplasty and all those plasty names

These surgeries rarely make people hot. That's what users don't seem to understand.
They are designed for normalization; jaw surgery and other facial osteotomies are not chad affirming.
Surgery doesn't trump natural growth.

A good base is a cornerstone tbh. Seems like most successful ugly duckling surgical transformations involve above average people who suddenly get the "it" factor after surgery

100%. Though like I mentioned earlier, some surgeons do more unconventional movements. With the correct idea of how the goal should look like, for sure you could ascend with osteotomies.

It's about balance still, function and aesthetics are both equally to consider.

The people you are referring to usually have a single failo that's holding them back from being good looking and surgery is like the missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle in these rare cases.

A good example is short face syndrome where downgrafting the maxilla and mandible is transformative:

This dude's eye area changed too. Huge difference

The eye area was unchanged. His jaws were just downgrafted.
The poor guy in the before had to scrunch up his entire face to get even a small amount of tooth show when smiling.

We could but it's important to do some due diligence yourself as well. You need to be able to sniff out bullshit with these people.

The fact he's offering zso means he's certainly more looks oriented than your average surgeon.

ye he 100% is, he does basically every surgery in the book in his own clinic but also works for a proffesional hospital. He is the only surgeon from my country who thinkd aesthecics are more important then function (or go hand in hand). Its just i dont want to blindly trust this guys plan without getting 2nd opinions

update, talked to my surgeon nd he thinks we could do zygo implants instead of zso. he told me we'd do it after the bimax is fully healed cuz the swelling nd shi, thoughts? (not sure how it works w insuracne tho cuz he told me implants are way more expensive)

custom ones pretty sure idk if normal ones are a thing tho
