Bimax make you chinny?

My orthodontist told me I needed bimax once I turned 21 when I was 16. I am now 21, and am an amateur boxer/mma fighter... I dont want bimax, but I want braces, and my orthodontist tells me I need bimax to properly fit the braces (probably bullshit) like I just want straight teeth.... So does djs make your jaw weak? Came here to ask this because I feel like this is a place where there might be someone with experience in this.

Your bones will be weak. Take HGH/pepdites after getting the surgery.
