Bimax or Genio

i dont have a recessed mandible but a short ramus and a slightly recessed chin. My maxila is fine.

The recessed chin nerfs me by making my lower third shorter. My front profile is decent.

I have a overbite and air ways problem too so a decent case for bimax but I am conflicted if I should just get the genio and be done with it get the bimax for a better ascension.

A safer and less time consuming option is probably genio and jaw fillers but i dont wanna get checkups every fucking 8 months

with your airway issues, bimax is the smart play. genio alone will just push your chin forward but won't fix the breathing or the short ramus, so you'd still be recessed functionally. plus, some data suggests genio doesn't significantly improve airway volume the way full jaw surgery does.
