Thanks, my ortho said maybe I could do mainly for aestetics ( braces+ bimax) but this is why Im asking here ( maybe my orthodonist is very fonctional based)you qualify probably, if its only a functional bimax it wont ascend you much tho, keep that in mind
but i think if you do it for aesthetics, you may need to pay yourselfThanks, my ortho said maybe I could do mainly for aestetics ( braces+ bimax) but this is why Im asking here ( maybe my orthodonist is very fonctional based)
Maybe but it’s not that expensive here where I live. Still I believe it’s not normal ( you should have Class I occlusion)but i think if you do it for aesthetics, you may need to pay yourself
From the images above, i would say definetely get it, but i don't know exactly the measurments, but it shouldn't be a big movement anyways, just a small rotation tho since your occlusal plane is near parallel.Yesterday I’ve meet an orthodonist and he said I have type II division II malocclusion, do I qualify for Bimax ?
Do you think only mandible is recessed or also maxilla ?

It is retruded, but more on the mandible side, if i had to say:Thanks, my SNA seem to be 78° and SNB 72° according to https://webceph.com.
Is maxilla normal or a little retruded too ?
Thanks man that's nice.It is retruded, but more on the mandible side, if i had to say:
Upper jaw is mildly
Lower jaw is retruded
Ur welcome, feel free to dm me or ask me whenever you want.
It's also about the soft tissue wich also plays a role, but i think it can be fixed with other procedures as i remember if bimax doesn't give projected lips. Thanks man that's nice.
Also in the top of that, my upper incissors make my lower maxilla even flatter.
Yes, because in Class 2 div 2 The upper incisors are tipped backward it makes the nasolabial angle so weird. It's also about the soft tissue wich also plays a role, but i think it can be fixed with other procedures as i remember if bimax doesn't give projected lips.
do you have nasolabial folds? prolly do im jus asking to confirmYes, because in Class 2 div 2 The upper incisors are tipped backward it makes the nasolabial angle so weird.
But It's fixable with braces I think.
