Got a 3D x-ray of my skull the other day and the right part of my mandible hangs lower than the left. It’s not really noticeable in person but it is causing some issues so I think I can get my insurance to cover the costs. Should I pursue bimax or would another surgery benefit me more?

Cant tell without seeing pictures and scans, and im not a surgeon, so better consult with a good aesthetic surgeron, but bsso [Bilateral Sagittal Split Osteotomy/mandibular advancement] ]or bimax can fix your issue by realigning and repositioning the lower jaw to improve its appearance and function, bimax is both the maxilla aka lefort 1/2/3 and bsso is the lower jaw. unless you are recessed then try and send the scans to a jaw surgeon and see what he responds with, Gl.
