I’ll probbaly be getting a bimax after summer, I have a savings account my parents opened for me and there willing to loan it to me , I’ll hopefully be getting it around September, I’m wondering when I should have my first consultation to align it well, how long does The planning typically take

How much will it cost and where will you be getting this procedure done?

You have bite issues or purely cosmetic?

Purely cosmetic
How recessed would you say you are? Cause from the cases ive seen, the less recessed someone is and while having no bite issues, the less you will benefit from it.

Both are only slight recessions, my pre maxilla is the main issue when I smile my face sinks inwards, I was thinking of only getting a lefort 1 but I already have an overbite so would be stupid not to advance the lower jaw along with it

Wdym with sinks inwards? Like heavy smile lines?

my upper lip has no support so when I smile it retracts back to where my upper row of teeth are, which is too far back
You mean kind of Gummy smile? Where you can see the gums while smiling?

Not really, I just look way more recessed when I smile because it actually shows how far back my maxilla is, I can normally fraud by pushing my lips forward but obv can’t do that whilst talking or smiling

I feel like i might have the same issue. But im going through orthodontic treatment first cause i have shit teeth and deep bite, and then will look into bimax etc.

would it not be better to do it at the same time ? If you get treatment then a bimax you might have to get more orthodontic treatment afterwards
