yeah everyone was saying that it was a huge improvement if i remember correctly

You have a good prominent chin rn doing the upwards sliding like on the simulation looks odd, your creating a mentolabial fold that’ll look bad imo.
Also look at the your current transition between mandible and chin. Rn it looks good cuz it’s not on the same level (chin goes further down) making the chin powerful.
By reducing chin height you’re gonna give the illusion of a flat/blocky lower third.

Also idk if it’s even worth it for you, clearly your front can’t be bettered by trimax. And side profile idk who cares it’s probably already good rn.

no implants for me because i am not gay (jfl) but on the more serious side implants seem a little bit more risky lol
I am just trying to fix my falios rather than create something out of thin air. about the research you do your own research because i was fast but i am also a little crazy so you have to weigh in your risk tolerance

Yes it is, I just don’t think it’s too big of a failo, and I don’t like the way he planned it.
Rn the way it’s planned your front will look worse.
Because imagine the soft tissue of your chin as a wrapping paper. If what’s inside it (the bone) is pushing outwards, the soft tissue will look tight and take the shape of the bone.
Now if what’s inside is not pushing against the soft tissue anymore but instead going inwards the soft tissue will look loose.
Basically your chin will not have the same squared up look, and maybe looser skin under your chin.

But again idk it’s just my opinion but even the soft tissue simulation of the front looks like that on the chin post op.

thank you for the balanced take. i will talk to him about it. he said the CCW + the genio will stretch the skin
my chin width is good on the CT

so maybe it will be fine? should i ask for a hinge genioplasty instead of a sliding one?

Maybe it’s shorter yes, maybe the difference is in the cheek biting appearance iam not sure.
But I don’t think you’re getting closer to that look with that planning.

i think the downgraft will fuck up the lip lift effect because for me no downgraft just straight CCW. even on the scan i am getting more upper lift no?
