Update:

Recommended CCW witg genio with about 7 mm advancement and genio followed by malar implants

They claimed my long midface was not caused by my maxilla being long, but it was actually slightly short. I have a long midface look due to no projection . Therefore, I will get it lengthened which will allow for a some CCW. The only thing is that my face barely changed based on the work up, but that’s to be expected. Implants do most of the heavily lifting in a case like mine

Finally my mom agreed to pay for the surgery (life fuel) if I go to therapy

Let’s gooooooo

Biggest worry is my before and after barely changes, Altho they didn’t include the genio

Overall better news than expected

Might ascend me half a point, unless it fully stretches my soft tissue, in which case 1.5 points, but will give me the base to get implants which could ascend someone like me 1.5-2 points

Due to my long PFL, eyelashes, and downturned medial canthus, fixing my NCT alone and infraorbital projection added 1.5 points to me so that’s where I’m going

So basically the camouflage/soft tissue effect is not just due to rotation but also/mainly recession?

Why would you get it lengthened when the main issue is the forward growth and lack of mandibular/maxillary projection causing that horse look?

Also make sure they address nasal projection and the upper third

I hope you are smart enough to include maxillo/mandibular widening as well

Projection of upper third is done by implants

Lengthening of maxilla is done due to lack of soft tissue tension and slight brachinsss ( skull looks long due to mandible solely), so basically stretching out the soft tissue as much as possible to eliminate chubby cheek look despite being normal weight. Something like this, not as dramatic
