Bionator Appliance?

Hi all,

Has the bionator appliance ever been discussed on here?

It's meant to grow the lower jaw...

Most orthotropic appliances aren't taken seriously here if the patient in question is over the age of 15 or so, so no. I think they might be worth something, as I've seen studies where the Herbst appliance worked to increase inclination of the mandible in a 30 year old man, an age long past the range where those types of devices are supposed to have any effect.
