Zoomer Historian on YouTube has some decent entry level videos on WW2 but I haven’t watched all of them I’ve only seen a couple. Some things he says are going to be false but there’s a good bit that isn’t taught in schools on there.

I guess you can look at it two ways. It depends on what you consider good genes to be passed on and also understanding that sexual selection means traits that are not at first look beneficial to the individual or species can be passed on. For example , traits like taller height and decrease of the balding gene are non beneficial to the individual or species , they offer no direct one to one evolutionary advantage. However , these traits are sexually selected for , so your offspring being taller and not having the balding gene is good for their chance to reproduce thus you can argue this is beneficial.

Some traits don’t strongly improve survival but are favoured through sexual selection. These traits can still spread because they increase mating success. Therefore, “good genes” can include traits that mainly improve reproductive success rather than survival. If your definition of dysgenic is only traits that increase survival , I would say this logic is flawed because sexual selection is a subset of natural selection.
