Black clothing models tend to have short hair?

Is it just me or have others noticed that black clothing models tend to have short hair while white guys tend to have longer? If so, why?

I'm talking about models that they use to show clothes on clothing online shops.

Because a long afro looks like shit on most people, short afro/ fade look alright.
