This might be a case like Manute Bol where some allege Manute was 35+ by the time he was entered into college sports as a 19 year old and was in his 40s and 50s when playing in the NBA.

My understanding is that the more melanated races (all types of non-Whites) generally have thicker skin that forms deeper wrinkles that take longer to appear.

If this is indeed the case, this would explain "Black don't crack" as simply Blacks maybe taking until 40 years old or so to start having visible wrinkles and also the stereotype of Asians looking 30 years old at age 60 and then very rapidly looking like 100 year olds once they're 70.

Right, but I'm sort of thinking that this man might be age frauding like Manute Bol may have. It's possible this Black guy is 40+ rather than 24 but had fake documentation simply so he could get a spot on the team (no one would knowingly take a change on a 40 year old new to pro sports even if very athletic etc.).

Well it’s grounded in some proof. It’s not really “melanin” it’s jsut thicker skin that ethnics and blacks have compared to whites as well as darker skin hiding blemishes better

Unironically here in Germany refugees who are 20+ often times fake their ages to 17 because Germany can't deport people who are underaged.

Fair point, but assuming he was older than official documentation says, that means he didn't even begin playing basketball at a high level until he was in his mid to late 30s, so that's when his body would've began accumulating wear and tear from that.

Plus, he wasn't really relied upon for running fast or having a lot of physicality. He was more of an alternative option where his enormous reach and surprising dexterity at that height came in handy.
