They opt for black men over any other race. The question is do they go for light skinned or dark skinned black men. It appears over time the black women continue to go to more lighter skinned black men as time goes on.

Yes there is a huge war for black women vs black men right now and I didn't realize how bad it was. Black women are enraged if black men date outside their race, especially if its with white women. Agreed, the 2014 study showed black men in last but a 2017 study had the blacks ahead of the Indians and the Asians. I don't know if they included Mulatoos or differentiated between dark skinned/light skinned blacks. Perhaps dark skinned black may do the worse than Indians and Asians but I don't have data for this.
