It's funny because the person mocking him was only an inch taller.
I remember a moment in one of the episodes when Bomer, drunk, said: "You can achieve anything that doesn’t require height" After that, he lays him down on the bed and leaves the room to cry over those words.
Long story short, the most handsome man in the world, literary God of Gods lives the life of an ultimate Chad, while his colleague lived his entire life as a bald short LTN in glasses - and recently died of cancer... Meanwhile, his colleague still lives like a Chad.
