It's a free half-point or so boost that can't really be capped unless you have perfect skin already.
If you have average skin:
4.5 --> 5
5.5 --> 6
7 --> 7.5
It's the easiest way to boost attractiveness (not detectable rly, see this) for very little cost (both price-wise and as an investment of time, energy, risk, etc). Other looksmaxxes like jaw augmentation surgery will stop helping once you hit a 7/10 level of attractiveness or so. What will take months with skincare is achieved in mere seconds by this. Even people with very good skin can use it, but the returns are a lot less obviously.
