its the quality of the vocal takes i had to use, north recorded it on his phone and i had to mix it within fl and recordings are EVERYTHING
the songs actually mixed very well I can show you the chain I used I took time tweaking each eq and compressor to match the recordings requirements
yourej just not used to the genre plugg and using more high end and overly compressed vocals than normal on a vocal chain

I put on my headphones and it was probably the most abrasive mix I've probably ever heard. You'd have a hard time making anything quality on ANY phone's mic. The best phone's mic is probably only equal to a $100 mic, but I doubt it's even that good since I own one.
