I’m a 5’4” male and my wife is a 6’1” female. We’ve been married over 10 years, have a 9 year old daughter and we’re all very happy.

I’m originally from the UK and she’s an American, not sure if this makes a difference?

We used to notice the giggles in restaurants etc, especially when she wore high heels (which I love her to wear!) But I think we’re used to it now and don’t notice.

I obviously don’t feel uncomfortable around tall people and probably 90% of the US population are taller than I am!

I firmly believed that when my wife and I had a child that he or she would be of average height, you know short+tall=average height. How wrong was I… my 9 year old daughter is just over 5’ and catching up with me fast!

Do any other tall+short couples have children of average, taller or shorter height? I’d love to know? Obviously my beautiful wife has the stronger genes and I’m not going to argue with her about it! She’s taller than me! Lol
