Legit. Was near anorexic during development then boom, sudden growth spurt at 16 when I started eating more protein and fats + sleeping more.

I’ve always ate a ton of protein and I’ve especially drank a ton of milk, my whole life, and now I’m 6’4” tallest person in my family. My brother who has always hated milk is like 5’11”

No, I'm already an inch taller than my father. I do believe that proper nutrition and oral posture is necessary for forward growth, though
 
Pretty legit, getting enough sugar in your diet is essential though also. Low blood sugar is bad. You need to be doing a lot of exercise though also. It’s usually just from a bad lifestyle that growth is stunted.
 
Height is 80% genetic. I was breastfed for 2 years and ate a high protein, nutritious diet on a calorie surplus my entire life and I only managed punch a little above my genetics. Genetics will always catch up to you when it comes to height, I was even in 90th percentile for height until the age of 5.

I study it in school and it’s just my opinion. It’s the least energy-containing nutrient. I think it’s important but you only need a good bit, any time I see a bodybuilder saying to eat 150 g of protein a day I cringe. Idk, do your own research I might be wrong

right. for the average weight lifter 150 will do fuck all beyond helping you reach your limit. im talking strictly about protein and its importance during our youth, nothing else.

150g of protein = 600g of white meat (chicken or turkey), let's say half of it for a child. As a functionning adult it is really fine.
But of course for soyboy full 8 hours TV / video games per day no sport, eating cheetos and biscuits for meals, more likely meat will harm them, but anything will harm them JFL.
Eating lot of protein is pretty close to ancient hunter way of living those who were the stronger and the closer to chad, if you think about it

All I’m saying is that protein is not that substantive of a nutrient, and after a certain amount it literally just gets excreted as ammonia and puts a shit ton of oxidative stress on your body. The protein gets broken down and converted into Krebs cycle intermediates for atp production, but a fatty acid provides much more energy for that. Eating a lot of protein does not build any more proteins in your muscle lmao, go learn some biochemistry

I agree with that theory... my parents were like 5’7 or 5’8 and I became 6’1!!! Till my late teens I was drinking like 2 lt of milk daily but on the other hand I was eating too much sugar ... I believe I could be taller if I didn’t eat so much sugar.... For sure diet affects growth quite a lot but there are also exceptions for when the genes are too strong that diet doesn’t do much

And he slept pretty long in his childhood and teens, but he certainly didnt eat a super healthy diet. Lots of milk but little meat and other than that alot of white bread
 
And there is a clear correlation between height and amount of animal protein in the diet.
