One thing even racists here have to admit is that Black people make some of the best music out there. Like, you can't talk about jazz, hip-hop, R&B, blues, rock, or even pop without bringing up Black artists who built the foundation. It's wild how much influence they've had and so much of what we vibe to today wouldn't even exist without that legacy. From the soul in a Nina Simone track to the energy of Kendrick or Beyoncรฉ. Wouldn't be wrong to say blacks built the music industry.

Yes they do. Funk is good for example. Shit slaps.

Modern black music not so much IMO.

Facts, the most famous artist of all time is black (Micheal Jackson) or should I say at least was for a while.

Correct. Although many use the argument that blacks start genres but whites perfect them.

Classical is probably the greatest genre technically, since it's the backbone of all music. But I mostly enjoy that in private.

Whites (specifically the British) perfected rock and perfected electronic/house. I will give that to them. Some of the best music ever.

But blacks make plenty of great music. Even modern rap is quite good, although I prefer either completely authentic rap from actual killers (NBA Youngboy, Pop Smoke, King Von) or the Opium rappers (Carti, Ken, Lone), I love their unique aesthetic and style.

Mainstream rap like Drake, Travis Scott, or Rae Sremmurd is pretty ass. And getting outdated, it sounds like "when we were kids". It feels cringe to play a Migos or Lil Pump type song these days.

90s hip hop is very good though. I appreciate the authenticity, and it truly feels like "real rap" to me. Black people truly loving their identity, appreciating their people, and sharing their voice.

Nice, I prefer Jay-Z. But both are from my city and great artists. Shame about the beef.

Also it's hilarious how Jay-Z blatantly shouts out us Jews every couple of songs. Ah well, we put him on though.

Jay-Z also had Kanye production on his side. Although Illmatic is probably the best rap album ever.

Tbh, Modern White music fell from grace too.

Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Imagine Dragons, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Maroon 5, Billie Eilish, etc.

Shit is bland af compared to the likes of The Cure, Radiohead, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna(before she got washed), Celine Dion, Joni Mitchell, Metallica, Pink Floyd, etc.
