They should be their own thing, just black, they aren’t ethnic
ethnics are a vary vague swarthy type of people, when I think of ethnic I think of an ugly south american native looking dude or a southeast asian and indian, no one thinks black when we say ethnic
Blacks are too prevalent and popular of a race to be considered ethnic, they have integrated into modern societies with whites to the point that blackness can be seen as a halo when surrounded by snow
No other ethnic has the BBC halo like black people, we should differentiate them
