i've experienced clear proof of that on both ends of the spectrum numerous times

i didn't even do anything particularly impressive or say something witty, just withheld some social pressure and avoided getting owned by the professor, who was known as a borderline bully who used every opportunity to flex over students. it was still enough to flip the switch in her brain and go all in without reserves since it was easy for her to get me

- the opposite (there were more of these), the assistant at my dentist's office - goes from shamelessly eyefucking me and literally massaging my neck while i was sitting there to making facial expressions that resemble those lookism vomit gifs, lmao. why? my dentist asks me something about my studying just to chat, and i say something extremely pathetic and out of character/nature of the situation (don't remember the exact words, but it was something like "i guess it just wasn't meant to be" after i said i was late with my last year and thesis)

the body language of the assistant changed so much that i avoided visiting the dentist for 18 months or so, until i made sure she was done with her internship

just take every simplistic "x or nothing", "x does this and y" garbage you see here with a grain of salt, and remember there are no minimum requirements for joining the site except having internet access and being able to type

Yea. And obv i m not saying this only happens to me. Seen a lot of good threads here that would have evolved into brutally informative exchanges on lookism, but here they mostly get ignored or shut down by "0" or "not a pixel" spamming morons. And these same guys are convinced it's them not being 6ft11 that's stopping them from getting girls
