Blonde Hair Balayage

Pheno: Caucasian, green eyed, dark brown hair, semi tanned skin (getting really tan over the next few weeks in aus summer) .

Question: Would I look better with blonde hair taking into account my current pheno? I would get a balayage so the roots remain dark.

Obviously the guy I attached is model-worthy and mogs 99% of the population. However I highly doubt black/brown hair would suit him better as opposed to blonde.

Just wanting to hear/see opinions and anyone that has done this please share how it turned out.
