Dying hair black?

I'm not sure if I should dye my hair/eyebrows black cuz it wont rlly match my phenotype. I am tan and have freckles and am European/Portuguese I think I might possibly look emo if I do it. So maybe dark brown? My hair is naturally light brown ish and gets dirty blonde during summer and reddish during winter.
