Literally just hair that lacks pigment in certain areas, a mix of dark and less pigmented strands. So when the light catches it can look yellowish. The blondest people are literally a few hairs away from having no hair color and having oldcel hair

Color is more how our eyes perceive light

What is crazy is color can look entirely different from one person to another. Your eyes bend light differently so what looks blue to one person may be white to another or crazy shit like that

It's not about what they're called but about the fact there are actually no blond hair strands. It's just a light effect by depigmented and unpigmented strands mixing to create a certain shine. But under the microscope the strands are just varying shades of white, brown, black etc

In the past, blonde hair was often described as "golden" hair. It is no coincidence, japanese Anime often draws blonde characters with hair which looks golden.

BUT tbh, there are SOME people in Scandi, who are TOTALLY blonde. Like REALLY. Their hair is insanely white. No pigment at all. I bet you can call them truly blonde...
