In the west its more normal, though ofc women would prefer the man paying. Im just saying its not usually a total dealbreaker if shes into the guy.

western Society is set up in a way that most people have to split bills, work, etc. (Which is why getting married gives govbenefits in sum countries)

my uncle worked as a barman in the West and he says it was always weird to him to charge each person's bill separately, especially talking about serving Germans and Slovenes (who are our fellow ex-Yugoslavs but they're more Westernised)

in our mentality/culture almost always the only one guy pays the bill and it's the one that invited or didn't pay last time


but yeah do whatever you want with your friends but if you pay 50/50 with a woman I have bad news for you...

my point was paying 100 on a date is right no matter of your culture

another example, Meds are by default more friendly and outgoing than Scandis who are more withdrawn - you know which of these traits are better in dating
