So I've been seeing a lot of ethnic and blue eyed cope here. I will explain why blue eyes, or eye color as a whole, is unimportant and doesn't matter significantly.
"I would be chad if I had blue eyes"
A slight difference in eye color will not significantly affect things.
A change in eye color will not affect your bones. It will not significantly affect your face. You are not an incel because of your eye color.
Coloring
The most common defense, is that light color eyes will alter coloring. While yes, this is true, it is not to an extent of significance.
Coloring is mostly based around skin color. Your skin covers 90% of your face. It determines your coloring.
Eye color can be unnoticeable from certain angles, lighting's, and distances. Your skin is always visible. It is never ignored. Although coloring is important eye color plays a minor role in coloring. Few will have significant change in coloring due to differently colored eyes.
Blue eyes effects on attractiveness of the eye area
The most common defense the argument for the importance of eye color, is that it can affect attractiveness of eye area.
Study
"Most surprisingly, no correlation was found between iridal color and rated attractiveness."
Eye shape and canthal tilt determine the attractiveness of eye area. It should not come as a surprise that eye color does not change the shape or tilt of the eyes.
It will not save a bad eye area.
eye color in models and celebrities
Celebrities and models typically have more light eye concentration than the general population. Correlation is not causation. The concentration could mean many things. For example, the idealization of the white race as a standard of modern beauty could explain the gap in concentration.
To suggest that celebrities and models wouldn't be so without their eye color is absurd. There is no evidence to suggest so.
but what about Meeks?
Jeremy Meeks, quite clearly, is an extremely good looking man. One of the most mentioned traits of his are his eyes, more specifically the color of his eyes. Meeks is a good example of someone who can benefit from a change in eye color as his coloring compliments it nicely.
Meeks with blue eyes
Meeks with brown eyes
Meeks continues to be an extremely good looking man regardless of the change in eye color. He experiences little degradation in looks, despite being someone who would benefit the most from lighter colored eyes.
Tldr: eye color is cope and not significant
Before "brown eye cope" I have blue eyes. And no, my eye area isn't atrocious
Let the seething commence!
